Effectiveness of the soap

Soap reduces the surface tension of water, since it collects also at the water surface. Through this effect, water can come in closer contact with surfaces, whereby the actual cleaning properties of soap and water can unfold at inaccessible places.

The "removal of fat" (dirt, dust, oil) from the surface to be cleaned and the flushing of such substances with the water makes for the actual cleaning properties of soap.

When the skin is cleaned with soap, the skin can breathe again, because dirt from pigments, skin sebum, powder and creme residues etc. will be removed from the pores.
